    PatientGamers, one of the communities that got me to make the jump off of reddit. It’s a games discussion subreddit community with a focus on games that aren’t new or currently super popular. Not as far back as the retrogaming enthusiasts, though.

    As far as I can tell, subscribing to a community instantly kills all activity in that community. I don’t think I’ve seen any activity in any of the communities I’ve subscribed to. So as far as I can tell Lemmy is a place people go to talk about which instances are defederating which other instances. I might stop logging in.
