Anything that’s easy to fake like that I wouldn’t risk personally. All they have to do is put the wrong sticker on it. It’s not hard to make a forgery.

Then you’re stuck trying to deal with the Chinese company to get your money back. I’d much rather just go to a box store and pick one up, at least I know what I’m getting, and I know that if it turns out not to be the real product I’ll have no issue returning it.

I don’t feel much of a ‘risk’ to be honest, I got one as an experiment figuring Kodak wouldn’t let Temu run an ‘official Kodak Store’ illegally for long. The packaging is very well done and looks exactly like local Kodak SD cards except there is also chinese writing on the packaging itself.

After using the first one for a couple months with zero issues I bought two more and there hasn’t been a single problem so the risk seems well mitigated and I have saved $30 out of $60 so far going this route. I’m not putting them in medical devices any pictures are backed up to the cloud so if anything ‘goes bad’ at this point i’m still well ahead.
