According to report, evacuees to Rafah in the south of the Strip have been greeting each other with ‘May God take revenge upon Hamas’
They should. Hamas wrote the far right in Israel a blank cheque. Intentionally.
This doesn’t take any blame or responsibility away from Israel’s reaction. Blame isn’t zero sum.
It’s also on Israeli news, so how much of that can we take seriously?

Hahahaha oh man I was wondering when the ‘jet fuel can’t melt steel beams’ crowd would arrive.

Lol you claim it’s one person with multiple accounts when anyone downvotes you 😂
There’s actual propaganda teams on here, Islamists and the usual incel angry boys like yourself who would eat Hamas ass all day if they could.

I was wondering when the braindead momo crowd would show up.
Hamas leadership wont care, they are nice and snug in dubai or the in that other shining turd city.
They’re more based in Qatar. The UAE are very close to Saudi Arabia and generally despise Iran. Hamas is backed by Iran, not the Saudis.
If the Saudis could snap their fingers and make an independent Palestine arise, they’d do it, but they’d much rather make money than get caught up in ideological conflicts.
Yes qatar thats the one i mean
Hamas has a lot of ties to Tehran. And we (that is, the US, spurred on by the UK, and specifically, British Petroleum) are largely to blame for turning Iran into such a staunch adversary (where have we seen that progression before?)
If you say so, i honestly dont know. All i (sort of) know is that leaders of those kinda groups are always the furthest away from any danger and “normal” ppl suffer.
if you say so
For the record, this isn’t “me saying so”.
Im not saying you did or didnt or whatever :)
According to Israeli TV, so not reliable at all.

And another article that contains a video of a woman in Gaza, complaining that Hamas is taking the humanitarian aid for themselves.Article in English
I mean Hamas definitely wanted Gaza attacked. It’s the only logical outcome of the Oct 7 attack and the purpose of taking hostages.
If I was Palestinian I’d be wondering why my government hates me enough to sacrifice me for some propaganda.
Here’s the short list of Channel 12 articles this could potentially be referring to:
- The cry of a resident of Gaza in front of the cameras: “Hamas steals all the aid” (Google Translate)
- “Sinwar, may Allah take revenge on you - release the abductees”: Gaza residents make extraordinary statements against the Hamas leadership (Google Translate)
- The rage in Gaza about UNRA: the residents discovered - the warehouses are full of food and equipment that were not distributed (Google Translate)
Considering the reporting is largely pulling Al Jazeera and Gazan news sources, I’m inclined to believe this is both truthful and accurate but likely to be cherry-picked. Today’s live blog includes images/video of large crowds outside UNRWA warehouses demanding to be allowed in, which if accurate would explain why Gazans are losing faith in Hamas.
There’s a lot of support for ‘armed struggle’ to end the apartheid from the lack of any real peace negotiations, but not really for Hamas or the PA
That, if accurate, is some damning poll results. 75% of them support the attacks on October 7, and an additional 11% are fine enough with them to have no strong opinion. That’s 86% of the population.
If 75% of the population supports the attacks, and 86% at least had no problem with them, then I can’t agree when people say things like most of the Palestinians just want to live their lives in peace.
You need to see this in the current context though, this polling is done after two months of heavy bombing by Israel. The sentiment in Gaza at the moment is not exactly positive towards Israel right now, and rightly so.
The one that for me is a key point is how small the believe in a two state solution has become and the other ones related to the believe in a peaceful situation. This is what I have been thinking all the time - Israel has created a situation in which peace with Gaza is becoming impossible. There is an entire generation now that will not be able to forgive Israel. Short term, they may be able to defeat Hamas, but there is no way that this will be a stable situation. But I guess Bibi just needs it to last for as long as he intends to be in power, and doesn’t give a shit about what comes after.
lol, the utter evil we’ve excused for ourselves is working
