that’s a problem with the city and not with public transit. there are many cities where public transit is safe, it always depends on the general safety of the city
Doesn’t make any functional difference to me as a rider, a normal person who uses the rail and bus. Problems I have with the people on the bus means problems I have with the bus. The people need fixed if you want me supporting public transport.
