In my defense I have to say that this is what my biology teacher teached us, that babies cannot choke with their umbilical cord. But she is also antivax, so I shouldn’t have believed her.

EndeavourOS is so amazing! Imagine Arch Linux with all the great things that come with it, like the AUR or the Arch wiki. Now imagine that without all the hassle installing everything and writing config files to every little program. That’s EndeavourOS. It’s basically Arch linux extremely well set up. It doesn’t hold back updates like Manajaro. It also has very friendly community that can help you with any problems and isn’t toxic.

YouTube music ReVanced exist. I also use xManager for Spotify.

I use aShell. It’s FOSS and does the same thing. You need Shizuku for is, which is also FOSS. Both Shizuku and LABD use the wireless debugging feature for this to work, which requires you to be connected to a wifi (wifi without internet works too).

• Monument Valley 2 [paid] - amazing for relaxing
• Standoff 2 - just a shooter game that doesn’t force all of the cases and levels and upgrading. It has those features, but I just open the game and start the match.
• Falling Lightblocks - best Tetris clone.
• Antimine - Minesweeper with ton of themes and settings. It’s FOSS but the Google Play version has ads, download from F-Droid.
• Flowit (F-Droid ,GPlay) - simple FOSS game that melts my brain after first few levels.
• Despotism 3k [paid] - great game. It’s pretty hard. Very funny too.
• Mindustry (F-Droid, GPlay) - My brain is too small to understand this game. But it’s fun.

Except for games I use FOSS on my Linux desktop and on my Android phone. The FOSS alternative is often better than the proprietary software.

I’m using Samsung Galaxy A51 just because my grandfather repairs those and gave it to me. And default OneUI android that the phone ships with, because I’m afraid of rooting.

I definitely agree on that open source backend is great, but you still cannot verify that that’s the code running on their servers. Open source frontend is much more important IMO.
