It’s usually not inside the sun thanks to Jupiter’s fat ass
Yes, but it’s mostly shifting because of Jupiter. It’s just so dang heavy. Like, a couple times heavier than every other planet put together. I don’t have the brain wattage to do the cool math right now, but a quick google search says that while the barycenter of the solar system does depend on all the planets, more often than not, it is outside the sun
why would you be ridiculed and scorned for opening up emotionally?
Not to sound like a blue-haired liberal, but at least in my neck of the woods, toxic masculinity is to blame. Like, one of my favorite internet folk got bullied off the internet recently for saying he likes girls a little too enthusiastically. Some dudes will absolutely tear you apart if you are a man that exhibits anything other than stoic passivity.
Legitimately could be a use case
“Attend this meeting for me. If anyone asks, claim that your camera and microphone aren’t working. After the meeting, condense the important information into one paragraph and email it to me.”
Lemmy and not seeing obvious jokes: name a more iconic duo
You just need a gun about 10 meters wide
The problem is giving conservatives the opportunity to define “significant risk”
That’s not what a double negative is
You’re not wrong. I would say they’re functional junk. They’re definitely cheap, but they got my prescription spot-on , and it took me like 4 months to notice the slight warping on the lens. If they weren’t all I can afford, I would buy from elsewhere, but they aren’t the worst thing I’ve had to compromise on for price. I wish my cheap junker car worked as well as these glasses.
Zenni as well here. Overall I’m happy. To answer your question: the website has a semi-functional “virtual try-on” that works well enough for checking the look of glasses. I only used to it gauge the size of them, because I have a big head.
Worth noting that if you have a strong prescription, you’re going to pay more wherever you buy them. I have a -4.5 cyl number, and the glasses I wear now cost around $100, despite the frames starting at like $25
Take a serious look at yourself and ask why you’re making these comments. Was it really necessary to equate surgery to mutilation? Did you have a point that you wanted to make but absolutely fumbled? If so, do you genuinely believe in that point despite not being able to use words to express it?
There’s a limited amount of storage space for the text of these comments on servers. Try not to waste those ones and zeroes with inanity.
Eleazar is a transphobe. They said in no uncertain terms that they believe all bottom surgery, not just infant circumcision, is mutilation.
Bottom surgery isn’t injury or disfigurement though??? It’s a medical procedure done to improve the patient’s quality of life. Is a heart transplant mutilation?
Bottom surgery isn’t mutilation, this is a transphobic talking point
Adults should be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn’t pose a significant risk to someone else’s health
Fixed that for you. Don’t give conservatives ammo to legislate my right to tattoos away.
Lemme help you out here buddy
@Eleazar@sh.itjust.works made the incredibly transphobic and apparently popular argument that all bottom surgery is genital mutilation.
@such_lettuce7970@kbin.social replied to them, saying that they dont consider the bottom surgery they recieved to be genital mutilation.
@Eleazar@sh.itjust.works made the incredibly offensive comment that yes, actually, such_lettuce7970 was mutilated.
@RobertOwnageJunior@lemmy.world replied saying that sometimes bottom surgery is medically necessary, implying that when it is medically necessary, it’s wrong to consider it mutilation.
Then you called him a fucktard for some unfathomable reason.
@irmoz@reddthat.com said that you read their comment wrong, because you still assume they’re talking about infant circumcision.
Did this help?
What are you talking about? They’re saying that bottom surgery has legitimate medical applications, which it does. I don’t know whether to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you just replied without reading the comment, or give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you’re smart enough to read and are actually calling people who get bottom surgery pedophiles.
Either way, this whole comment section is really making me second guess my commitment to quit reddit, if this is the caliber of discussion we have here.
What a dumb thing to say. I am more than comfortable telling people living under wildly different and much harsher circumstances that cutting their babies dicks is not conducive to a thriving society. It turns out people with foreskins drink and eat just as much as those without, and they have the added benefit of never dying from their penis getting infected because someone really wanted to cut part of it off.
This just in, all abrahamic religions are actually pretty bad, even the one that gets unfair hate
Aaargh it looks so cool and futuristic but I know it’s impractical as hell
