  • I think criticizing people for what they do (eg: calling some politicians “murderers” because they allow genocide) is different than calling names just to hurt, which is what dead naming usually is.

I don’t think anyone should be okay with racism or that kind of attacks, even on people they hate. Kim Jong Un may be a piece of shit (or not), but calling him a racial slur is unproductive and definitely crossing the line.

Here, the deadnaming comes from ignorance, not hate; and it’s true that it might help clarify who someone is, but in this case everybody knows her for being the “leave Britney alone” person, not for her deadname. So it’s really unnecessary.

  • I linked a deleted post on the body of this post, try clicking on it. It should bring up a “couldn’t find post” screen and reset Jerboa after going back.

I’ll say I also use the app URLCheck to open urls, and my phone uses MIUI OS, in case that’s relevant.

Edit: okay I think it might not be jerboa’s fault, rather a weird interaction with URLcheck when opening links that aren’t handled directly by jerboa.

I think it creates a different instance of the jerboa app or something, resetting it. But I have to do more testing.

There are many lean people that eat absolute crap, and are as unhealthy or more. I don’t think we make fun of bad eating habits; we make fun of fat people because they don’t fit into certain beauty standards.

Also, being “fat” doesn’t mean you’re not healthy. Being a bit chubby or overweight is perfectly normal, obesity is a problem.

And I think calling people “lazy” for being fat says more about you than anything. Exercise isn’t the most important factor on weight, eating habits are. Specifically, calorie intake.
