Slow down, my friend. First, recognize that women have and do vote Republican, too. As their friends or other women in their communities have to deal with horrible situations that are even vaguely similar to these, you can imagine how quickly their views are going to shift.
Actually, you don’t even have to imagine it. You can just look at some of the data we’ve seen from early voting around the country. It turns out that when you have laws that f*** over women in obvious and horrible ways, a lot of women react negatively to it. A fair amount of men, too.

The second graph supports the general claim, with several countries ranging between a quarter and half as much as US costs. We can take a look at that graph and see that $10,000 figure for the US, and then go look at the $2,500-3,000 range and find several countries there that have much longer lifespans.
Both Israel and South Korea have universal health care but of course the details for everything are highly relevant. Anyway, I think we can safely say that your conclusion above, that the US system is not four times as bad as a universal system, is presumably false, based on the Israel counterexample.
The employees are more important than the boss. So yeah, I do count those jobs and feel it means something significant. Also, what does “logical” even mean to you? If the boss cut his own pay, he could have kept the employees. That’s just as logical, isn’t it? So you’re not talking about logic, are you.
If you want to talk about values, let’s do it. Please explain why multi millionaires (and richer) matter more than everyone else. Please.
I love that paranoia and xenophobia. As if a corrupt domestic company is somehow magically better than a corrupt international company.
It’s been quite obvious over the past few years that yes there’s potentially some risk of foreign countries trying to install spy code, but actually that doesn’t seem to happen very often, and what’s much more damaging to our society are large corporations that use their power to screw over the general public, and most of these large corporations are domestic.
Even if everything you wrote is true, none of it applies to the United States because we have the electoral college. Sorry, but it’s not Europe, and we have our own weird system.
First, don’t panic. Harris and her staff, and Democrats around the country, they have planned for many shady actions on Trump’s part. Details are scarce because they don’t want Trump staff to have a heads up.
And then everything depends on the details.
But remember, anything that looks like a coup d’etat could easily get the military or spy agencies involved. And if they move, it doesn’t matter what SCOTUS says. As a result, it’s very hard to predict what would happen in various extra dramatic situations. There is no precedent; precedent wouldn’t mean anything anyway.
Why would they waste time trying to explain? The problem lies with your understanding, not their actions.
But look, I’ve voted third party a lot, and I could tell you what other activities I do to make the world a better place. If I did, would you stop saying this kind of thing in the future? Do you promise?
Not clear that Trump ever had that lead. Lots of doctored numbers in 2022 and 2024. But I don’t expect Fortune to cover that well.
Raising questions? No. The only question is how far, how much, how many people will die.
Just like you, right? Just like all of us who are posting instead of campaigning.
Prison? …No. You’re just wrong. That’s bad no matter what.
That’s not what the Supreme Court said, though. Only official acts have absolute immunity. Murder is not usually an official act.
And as always, if you’re talking about a coup d’etat, the question is if the military or spy agencies will kill you before, during, or after it. When the rule of law is out the window, you must expect physical violence.
Also immediately redefine income more broadly. Tax law says it’s one narrow thing, but in reality a lot of money comes in. Let the law march reality.
And this story itself is a weak attempt to undercut Democrat voting. We all know what mistakes were made when, and we all know that people will blame others if they need to. That’s old news. The obvious reason to report on it right now is as clickbait, which has the obvious side effect of discouraging potential voters.
I also think that Biden’s comment can only help her. She’s trying to unify people, and he isn’t. It’s hard to believe there’s anyone out there who will change their vote, or potentially stay home, because he’s trash talking.
So now I’m pointing a finger at The Hill, and the cycle continues.___
I feel there’s a potential suicide joke here, but it would probably end up in bad taste.
I have a question for you that needs answering first. Offensive to whom?
Right right and many of the posts that we’ve seen here over the past 3 months forget about that key point, which is just an insult to the majority of voters in the United States.
And that’s how the Democrats can lose political support. That’s how they can alienate potential allies.
I understand your feelings, and sometimes I feel the same way. But what you didn’t tell us is the steps you’ve taken to make life better for people in Palestine and neighboring countries who are dying now.
If you want to argue that Harris is the lesser of two evils and that you’re also working to prevent her from being as evil as she has been in the past, you actually have to say that. Or don’t say it, and we’ll assume that you’re doing nothing because you don’t care, and the future is going to be just like the past, which is not acceptable.
Oh I don’t think you get to paint the church in a positive light. It’s been a very long time, if ever, since organized religion has been a positive force in the United States.
