  • Appreciate the help.

I doubt it’s the second thing because for an obscure game like this that at some point became free, most uploads on the internet are probably the same. But I will try a different one if the first option doesn’t work out.

Speaking of it, could you provide a more specific instruction or a proper package name for me to install? Because I tried searching for “multilib” and “32-bit libraries” and I doubt any of the ones I found were what I need, but I can’t tell it all looks pretty confusing.

  • Pardus. A Debian-based distro with a lot of beginner-friendly tools and extensions that make running it almost an OOTB experience. And if you don’t like extensions, you can just select the vanilla Gnome layout from its layout switcher, which is kinda like the Zorin layout switcher, except it has 6 layouts that aren’t locked behind a paywall. And if you think it’s bloated, it actually REMOVES some weird and unnecessary apps that the default Debian comes with, like dictionaries, Thai terminals and other such nonsense.

I actually recommend it to newcomers over the likes of Ubuntu and Zorin.

One downside is that Flatpak is not pre-installed. In the previous version it could be installed from their own app store (which is IMO the best app store on any Debian-based distro), but for some reason it became unavailable in the latest version. Still, installing Flatpak manually is better than dealing with Snaps.

  • I used to. But in the later years I found it very difficult to carry this much weight. In addition to that, I’ve realized the transient nature of my music tastes and my over-reliance on music. Also my priorities have changed a lot. Music is far from essential for survival, and when the times get rough (when you move a lot, and all you can take with you is your laptop), it’s much easier to access an online library than your own physical one. I’ve decided to keep the mp3s (m4as, wavs, flacs, etc.) of the songs that aren’t on Spotify and remove everything else.
