What kind of mistake can a pedestrian make to cause a self-driving car run over them, and how does making more cars self-driving prevent that mistake?
Yeah, but a car running over a woman, dragging her twenty feet and parking on top of her, could easily have killed her.
Were you completely lost because you hadn’t seen the first one?
Is it implausible that perhaps this person wished to hide within the GOP to escape its suspicions about their personal life? A Democrat mayor in a deeply Republican area would attract a lot of distrust and hostility simply by virtue of being a Democrat. A Republican mayor, not so much.
Is every trans person morally obligated to leave every institution that persecutes them? Even when to do so would scrutiny?
the FDA investigating the restaurant because it potentially had more than 0.4% (?) of human flesh content. Why any at all? At such a small amount it’s impossible to detect, completely safe to consume, and would be well less than a single finger in literal tons of hamburger
Not to actually argue against your point (nor to conflate this cartoon scenario with real-life regulations), but 0.4% would be way more than just one human finger in literal tons of hamburger. 0.4% of one ton would be 8 pounds / ~4 kilograms. I don’t know how many human fingers that is, but I’m certain it’s significantly more than one.
A “terrorist Disneyland”? Is there any other nation so cartoonishly evil, in your worldview?
Yeah, I think there’s a difference between tricking people into making invalid votes and straight-up asking them not to vote.
Of those 900 tons, how many will be used to get humans to Mars?
In the 2020 primary, she got fewer votes than Andrew Yang in her own home state. Not extremely promising as far as electability.
I don’t know why the reps receiving these threats aren’t demanding an investigation about who’s behind them.
Are they not?
We should judge civilians by the leaders they elect, because elections are always fair, right? Weird that we don’t seem to hold Russian citizens to the same standard as the citizens of Gaza, even though Putin is even more popular in Russia than Hamas is in Palestine.
In your ideal atheist state, what would the punishment be for religion?
Yeah, nobody gets mad at the playground’s security guard who sleeps on the job and refuses to tell the drug dealers to leave. 100% of blame rightfully goes to the parents!
I agree 100%, but I’d rather live without net neutrality than see that nickname catch on
Phenylephrine is the new stuff that’s basically useless, it’s not controlled because it basically does nothing.
No, it’s not controlled because it can’t be used to make meth. It doing nothing is just an unfortunate coincidence. There are other decongestants that aren’t controlled but do work.
As in, removing 99,97% of particles over 0.3 micron in size.
HEPA filters remove 99.97% of particles that are 0.3 micron in size. (That is the size of particles they’re tested with, as it’s the most difficult to filter.) They remove over 99.97% of particles larger or smaller than 0.3 microns.
I just looked over that page, and I couldn’t find any data on I_Has_A_Hat’s grocery costs between 2020 and now. Would you mind pointing it out for the benefit of me and other particularly dense people in the audience?
Did you read the article? This is about how the government’s web developers could stop writing websites that support Firefox. You might have to switch to Chromium to use government websites.
