I recognise your name, so you aren’t that unknown. Especially because I’ve been fairly quiet here as well though recently, aside from my comm. Life’s just busy and hard, and it takes me about an hour every day to write my post. Instead of spending all my free time online trying to fix the world’s problems, I can have a bit of me-time now. It’s honestly done wonders for my mental health. I hope it’s the same for you.

But I also wanted to mention that I’ve had my own run-ins with hexbear as well, so I very much empathise. I don’t know what you did, but it’s so easy to run afoul there for absurd reasons and have a million people insulting you. It’s hard to disengage when you see them as comrades.

If I read a comment on here about mass sterilization of all white people, I might upvote it assuming it was a joke.

Pretty much exactly what I thought. The original post in the modlog was a little extreme, and I probably wouldn’t have upvoted. But certainly nothing ban worthy. White people ACTUALLY DO THAT to my people. Don’t they always say “do unto others as you would have them do to yourself”? I can certainly see blowing off some steam now and then.

There was a dipshit in here the other day who said “free Tibet” and “return Hong Kong” in a completely unrelated post.

I told him he should free Hawaii and return whatever land he lived on. He said that it was conquered fair and square.

I’m native. Not Christian. That makes me pagan by default (I’m actually atheist, but respect my ancestors and what’s left of my culture). My dad had a proper Indian funeral. I’m here. Yeah, I’m right here with you. I’ve explored hundreds of systems in Elite. I get excited when I find an interesting planet. It would be really weird and immersion breaking for me if every planet was interesting.

I’m not really into playing 4x games multiplayer. But I did play Stellaris multiplayer. It can get pretty frantic if you don’t pause every now and then, but a far cry from boring.

Most people here are not capitalists. They’re workers like us and would benefit from socialism. But they’ve been subjected to nationalist and capitalist propaganda their entire lives, and that makes socialism become the boogeyman. It makes it hard for them to see how much they would benefit.
