1·1 year agoWhen I Was Done Dying is a favorite of mine. I first heard it on Dark and when I went looking for it the Adult Swim video was the first thing I found. Highly recommend.
31·1 year agoMy mother had just moved in with me and needed hospice care. Some of her meds were very difficult to find locally. The only pharmacy nearby that could accommodate her prescriptions turned out to be one that belonged to the family of her first husband from many years ago. When I went to get her medication the pharmacy tech was very helpful. So helpful that he insisted on escorting me around the store to help me find the supplies I needed. He asked me out in the wound care aisle. Which was as awkward as it sounds. The love of my life began with a hunt for ostomy bags and absorbent gauze. We celebrated our 20th anniversary last month.

Do stews count? I’d be Brunswick Stew. Growing up in Virginia, my mother had me convinced that Brunswick Stew was made with meat from the rare and elusive Brunswick (a distant cousin of the jackalope).
