Kinda sad to see Katie Porter at #1 with over $10m while the next closest candidate is just under $3m.
Edit - Having only known her for the charts she makes to school Republicans I had no idea she earned her law degree under Professor Warren (when she was teaching at Harvard), and was later given the position of monitor for a nationwide bank mortgage settlement by Harris when she was AG of CA. Small world.

I saw footage of him from his last rally and the contrast of his bright orange face to his tiny bright white hands was alarming.
Except he has more disdain for his supporters than anyone else, even the “radical left” that he puts on a show about disliking. But his cult are the ones he lies to, grifts away all their money on a deluge of just garbage with his “brand” on it, and just thinks they are the dumbest and most useless people. He has made comments about them not having lives and being unstable.

Yes, the lawsuits are part of their plan, because they know even when all these cases get thrown out because they got nothing (like last time) that the base (Trump’s foot soldiers) will believe Trump saying the justice system is being used against him/them.
It also seems to be that every election year now there is at least one state that doesn’t have their shit together and we have to wait a week for results.
This has been part of the Republican long game. Like in Georgia when they wanted mandatory hand counts of every district and then try and compare those against the machine numbers to call count differences out as “obvious ballet tampering”, when by the very nature of being human, hand counts are less accurate (especially on that scale). Just doing stuff that at a quick glance and no thought could maybe be perceived as “voting integrity” but is really all about voter suppression and disenfranchisement.
Bannon during Trump’s term referred to this as “flood the zone with shit”. Essentially just putting out such a large volume of nonsense that people just give up, you break their will to vote/argue/oppose you/fight back/correct the record.

Yes, but in getting a SSN the government already knows your citizenship status, and so when the voter registration workers check your information your SSN I would think would allow them to confirm your status (or lack of SSN as a red flag). Again the checks are in place already, this is just Republicans working around the rules to get them what they want. And sure people can reregister, but at least some of these people are going to be disenfranchised now and not see it as “worth the hassle”.

So they are purposely using a form that means nothing to try and push their bad faith argument, and the Supreme Court just said “sure, why not!” instead of stopping them like the law and lower court said.
Note that you must provide your Social Security number, if any, when applying to register to vote in Virginia. Therefore, if you do not provide your Social Security number, your application for voter registration will be denied. State and local voting officials will use your Social Security number as a unique identifier to insure that no person is registered in more than one place.
Again they already have checks in place and this is transparent tampering with voter rolls to help them in the election next week.
But wasn’t citizenship checked when registering? This is the part that blows these anti-democratic lawsuits up as purely political and a way to hopefully remove enough people they think are going to vote Democrat. Otherwise what is to stop these people from re-registering on election day?
And I have seen tons of stories about the overworked poll workers needing to deal with these voter role challengers nonsense. They all say there are safe guards built into every layer of the system and this type of stuff does nothing but create more work for election officials and less secure/democratic elections.
Oh the irony that people he has conned into being his “muscle” are already tried and convicted, yet Trump has managed to delay even having his day(s) in court.
The biggest problem currently is that everyone left of Trump’s far right movement are all left lumped together for representation. And I think AOC had a decent take on this in one of her PA stops the other week.
He has been planting the seeds for this. I’m sure it’s also part of his disinformation campaign should he win, when people start showing video of him and his campaign doing horrible things, like trying to use the National Guard/Military against US citizens for instance.
The thing is, if he wins they are in trouble anyway, do they not remember the paper towels he tossed at them in a time of need last time? He has surrounded himself with nothing but fascists and racists this time around, I would be surprised if he didn’t hold aid for the next hurricane until they can “pay their fair share”.
I would love to see it streamed/televised live in primetime in split screen so you can see them both doing it live so conspiracy theorists would have to really work at coming up with an excuse for Trump. Any other way Trump would afterwards just make up an alternate reality where he “aced” a dementia test.
I know he would still lie afterwards, and try and discredit the test, but people would have access to the video evidence, which is also the reason we have a better chance of him releasing his tax returns.

The same guy that lied about rushing to help people on 9-11? Surely he wouldn’t lie about helping people in the aftermath of a natural disaster? You’d think he was kind of a con man trying to grift himself into some kind of position of power, huh.
It’s rats jumping ship, and pretty telling when Trump’s “brand” is deemed too toxic for even some of the biggest shit heads in his orbit. And that is how the media should be framing it, if they didn’t want a fascist in charge at least.
He doesn’t sound like he wants to be a cuckold, he wants to spank his daughter in a sexual way. This is just like Trump broadcasting how he wants to have sex with Ivanka more than anything. If their daughters could be talked into it, both of these sick fucks would be down with fucking their kids.
I fear it starts with messing with vaccinations and we have long dead diseases come back, but then shifts to other things, like “you don’t need those meds for depression because I’m not a Dr. but I know better than them and they are trying to poison you”. Then they are sending people off to for profit torture “treatment” camps like the rich do for the “troubled kids” now.
In the end you have people in essentially old school psych facilities where they aren’t really treated, they are just “out of the way”, and when they die they put them in the mass grave out back.
