Mr. Rogers had, they claimed, destroyed an entire generation with his liberal notions of entitlement. As the originator of the snowflake concept, he was an “evil, evil man.” The show’s moderators cited unnamed “experts” and a professor at Louisiana State University.
But have you considered that the action of changing the time requires you to make a choice, get up, shift context, actually do it, then shift back, tiring you out?

God I fucking hope so. I’m tired of the war on drugs model copied from the US here in Norway. The very least we can do is also copy the solution
About the only thing that makes sense to me, is that hell is just a purgatory in reality. You’re there until you learn from your mistakes
Or alternatively that earth/our universe is the purgatory, which kinda would make sense with why suffering is part of the world. The funny thing is is that it would make earth “hell” in this instance
An understanding of hell that is full of suffering, pain, and hellfires like in the mainstream makes absolutely no sense to me
Really, we should just work towards keeping the world population stable and bring everyone out of poverty
Not that we have to try particularly hard, the population is stabilizing off by itself
We’re 8 billion people on the planet, we aren’t running out anytime soon

AI has been used for these things for decades, they are just in the background and not noticed by laypeople
Though the biggest issue is that when people say “AI” today, they mean specifically LLMs, but the world of AI is so much larger than that
People vastly underestimate the influence of chronic illness when it comes to adverse living situations
When you’re struggling to be productive and work due to health reasons, society treats you like trash, and often won’t give you the support you need. And this is a lot more common than people are willing to admit
I’ve read the contract of my internet provider. No limit
Then again, I don’t live in the US
And even if you don’t have a few of the immutable things here such as the colour of your skin…
These situations could always happen in the future. Your brother can find out he’s gay, your parents might get sick with cancer, you might fall in love with an immigrant, climate change will have an effect on you, and so on
Not only that, but any of these could be you too. You might get mental health issues or get physically sick, you might find out something about yourself, even well into adulthood, or lose your job, or face a natural disaster, or any one billion of things that you need support for
Humans are not evolved to be truly independent. We all need, or will need, support.
