Fucking weird that the murderer ended up dead in the mom’s bathtub. I wonder if mom killed him?

Gods were invented so the in-group could pray to smite enemies. They were designed to suck for the out-group.
Low unemployment means higher negotiating power for workers
Too bad all those “right to work” people have been actively fighting against negotiation powers for workers. But lets blame the ‘yacht owners’ and piss and moan about how they take advantage of the lopsided negotiation powers we voted in for them.
I know! We should put exclusively yacht owners in power! They’ll totally fix it. /s
Not entirely fruitless. They’ll make some petrodeals while they’re there. Why waste a trip?
My in-laws are in Arizona where there are scorpions. I’m giving them a powerful blacklight flashlight so we can go look for them when it gets dark out.
My 2005 forester is much smaller than many other cars out there. It takes a full size mtn bike just fine. The real key is the boxy shape. The EV9 is bigger but not by much and might be worth me checking out. thx.
I really appreciate having the bike inside after a ride allowing me to stop for food or an errand on the way home.
I’ve totally got the money to buy a new car. My 2005 forester is getting long in the tooth and i’m ready to replace it.
I want a smallish car with the same basic features: AWD, 4door, boxy rear so I can toss a full size mtn bike in there, good in the snow, etc.
My distinct impression is that the manufacturers want to sell high end (all the options and $$) but don’t give a shit about usability. Chevy volt comes close but can’t take a bike.
It’s always difficult to merge worlds but maybe adamantium is roughly equivalent to beskar or slightly better.
I think wolverine would win in that fight. He’s got lots of experience fighting many different enemies varied power including “throw things at him” and can take a ton of damage. In contrast vader will be a bit surprised by the healing abilities, commentary and hidden armor.
correct. getting them on record doesn’t do shit – but making sure they are legally liable if they do try that bullshit might help.
Google’s privacy policy states this is only true for public documents: “use publicly available information to help train Google’s AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard, and Cloud AI capabilities”.
That seems different from your claim.
I don’t see the existence or use of GPT to be a “massive invasion of privacy” — although I agree that the chat logs can be very personal.
What aspects are you concerned about?
I’m positive that lawyers will get super involved and a lot will depend on the various contracts which we don’t have any visibility into. But from an ethical standpoint, the openai board shat in the bathwater and can’t really complain if people get out and move over to a cleaner pool.
The parallels are obvious but I haven’t seen anybody state that it actually is covid.
Sadly war sucks ass.
If it was a command post then there must be a path for Israel to attack. It’s not like Hamas gets to use “one weird trick” to exclude their command center from being a valid target.
If Israel thought it was a military target, did every thing else right, but sucked up then it’s a sucky product of urban war.
If Israel knew it was really only a hospital and attacked anyway — then they are morally and strategically fucked. Rightfully so. (Kinda like how other countries have also overreacted to a terrorist attack and gone after the wrong target).
And of course the reality of all this probably doesn’t matters because a large number of people make up their mind first and from then on ignore and other intelligence even when it’s gathered.
I think you underestimate his how many would believe. I don’t think MAGA types care about facts or health related statistics — all of which are signs of the liberal elite. Given the chance I think they’d make a martyr out of him just for spite.
I don’t know that there is a best case for “everybody” at this point.
If Trump is blocked from running we will be hearing from his cult for the rest of time - and they will turn around and try to do this to others as payback (like they are doing with impeachment).
If Trump dies of a heart attack he becomes a martyr.
I think the best case is that he looses the primary. This might keep the Rs together as a party (sigh) but at least it will be their choice and maybe we can all move forward from there.
If Trump looses on the general we have another round of sore losers whining and trying to destroy democracy some more. Regardless of how that fight goes every day of it diminishes the country and boost in intensity would be bad.
If he wins the general election the country is SO very fucked — welcome to your new authoritarian apartheid anti-freedom etc state. At least that is their stated goal and it’s gonna be a horrible country damaging battle.
All of this is Rs and Trumps (MAGAs) fault. And they’re continuing to take the initiatives. I don’t have a broad strategy in mind so I’m ok with fighting them at each of these levels.
When I see, and feel immediately support, for these I remind myself that I’m a relatively well off tech guy that works remote. My largest use of fuel for travel is for vacation / fun and cost of food and heat and etc is of course a large line item but I really could deal with a large increase. I’m very fortunate.
But what happens to everybody else when this happens. How do we make this form of transition without seriously impacting a LOT of people. And yes, I intellectually know that impact will happen from climate change. But people direct anger at people for individual policies and not, as much, because there was a big storm, or a doubt, or other “natural” event.
So how can these aggressive ideas really get going unless paired with serious societal changes like UBI and/or (big) subsidies for EVs and/or mandated charging stations and/or… ?
This is fair.
I’m saying they are not acting according to the caricature of a “conservative” they hold out to get votes. And the video explains that this has been a core feature of “conservative” for a while and provides a definition of what it really is.
“One report suggested that the man may have moved near the robot with a box in his hands, which could have triggered the machine’s reaction.”
Seems like a dumb way to check though.
Is it cumulative? Or is it probability — which of course goes up if you shower yourself in radiation multiple times a day?
