By what definition of middle class are you considering $250,000 to be middle class? That’s greater than the 90th percentile income.
It’s gotta be artful sarcasm
Marauders is fun! Solid gameplay loop. It is more basic than Tarkov in a mechanical sense, but this means it’s easier to convince your friends to play and easier to jump in and out of. It’s still a more tactical and methodical shooter than a lot of what you find in the mainstream. There is also a pretty unique space flight mechanic as part of the raiding process that the devs are still working on.
I’ve gotten my money’s worth for sure. I think I’m around 130 hours played so far, and I could see myself putting in at least twice that as development continues. More if my friends keep at it too.
How do you figure?
Single player social media, perfect.
Weird how actual slavery was “no big deal” but paying taxes is the worst thing ever because it’s tantamount to slavery and theft.
You’re not alone. I hate musicals. Love that they can have fun like this in Trek, but please never again please because I’ll have to watch that one too.
Edit: Chapel’s number was pretty cool though.
I’ll also say fuck Asurion. They seemingly bricked my phone during a routine repair. Obviously they came up with a flimsy excuse for why it wasn’t their fault, but regardless I ended up walking out with a paperweight instead of a screen damaged but otherwise fully functional device. Would’ve been better off not seeking their service.
Yep, I bought a Brother laser printer for $120 a few years ago. I don’t use it super often, but it’s been reliable and easy to use whenever I need it. I’ve never had to replace the toner. It just works.
I also really liked this one. I’ve seen other people complain about aspects of the story, but I felt like the story hit me way harder than it had to to be serviceable.
I mean, yeah? I don’t use a wash cloth anymore, I use a different kind of scrubber that dries out quickly, but when I used a wash cloth I just used a different one every day. Marginal impact on my laundry and a pack at Target was cheap. Every day I could wash my face with a clean cloth and then wash the rest of my body.

Incredible. What’s the context for when this was offered as advice?
I see you do not understand that by “down,” I am speaking historically and not arbitrarily “in the last three years.” The graph with #5 goes back to 1993. The downward trend is clear. I’m not sure if you’re being pedantic or deliberately obtuse.
Besides which, the claim of “insane violent crime rates” is your contention, and you have provided no definition or source for this notion.
I don’t feel the need to keep engaging with you on this subject. You seem to take pride in missing the forest for the trees. Have a nice night.
My guy, I’m not sure that you read either link despite quoting them. You skipped over #5, huh? Or #6, that despite a surge the murder rate is still below previous highs? Hell, they even say that outright in #7.
You’re right that I didn’t specifically link the second article to discuss underreported deaths. I did it because Figure 2 shows NVSS data that I could not otherwise locate easily, which also shows the trend I suggested. It can be difficult, I’m sure for reasons you understand, to source figures for police violence from rigorous sources… Especially when, as the article I linked notes, there are numerous issues with official sources. Here’s UIC’s page anyway, though.
But sure, yeah, thanks for your helpful illumination.
It’s google that’s gotten worse. It’s harder to find specific or niche information nowadays because Google doesn’t respect search operators and will instead show you the results for more common searches. That might be fine if you’re looking for general information, but it means that looking up specific facts (part numbers, error messages, etc.) they will drown you in SEO-optomized vague garbage results.
I’d also love some alternatives to use for troubleshooting. I just want to find the niche forum posts where people are discussing my specific issue!
I’ve also worked in state government. I am both surprised and not surprised to hear this.
