I haven’t heard of this until now and I’m already sold based on this thread title alone
I kind of feel like a big name cast defeats the purpose of Toxic Avenger.
Please tell me this is a Troma brand film.
As far as I’m reading it’s ‘Troma’ and "Legenday Entertainment’ doing it.
So I think we can expect some classic Troma shenanigans.
Legendary Pictures are producing it, though Uncle Lloyd is on as a producer and has stated he thinks the script is better than the original. Still not sure how I feel about this, as a Troma movie with a budget just doesn’t feel right.
Every day Hollywood does something that screams “we don’t know how to have an original idea”
If it stays R rated, it might be worth a watch. There isn’t enough ultraviolence being put out these days and a clean toxic avenger movie is tantamount to blasphemy. Surely they won’t repeat the die hard debacle.
