I’m not exactly sure what it is but I’m totally down for this … can’t recall last time a trailer made me want to automatically see the film.
I don’t know the film maker but the trailer gave me pretty hard nostalgia vibes for 2000’s era Kaufman stuff (Adaptation, being john malkovic etc) … and I’m all in on that kind of film!
I want to see this movie right now!
Looks like a hoot! Agree with the other lemming in the comments — it’s strange to see Nick cage so subdued in a role, and I dig it.
He’s great when subdued in my opinion! Adaptation comes to mind, and has similar vibes to this film too … he’s great at capturing a kind of haunted dread vibe, which is also just totally Cage.
