Turkey is prepared to send its peacekeepers to Ukraine if necessary. The Ministry of Defense in Ankara stated this on Thursday.

    Turkey needs to put some pressure on the new Syrian government to give Russia the boot from Syria. I’d trust them a lot more as a peacekeeping force in Ukraine if I saw them protecting ordinary Syrians from a resurgent Russian threat.

      That might not be in Syria’s best interest right now. Iran, Israel, and separatist groups are the priority. No need to provoke Russia on top of that.
