Yup, I didn’t get it because there simply wasn’t enough seasonal content, loot boxes, battle passes, and FOMO elements. Better luck next time EA!

Well, obviously. Just look at the massive success by the other major game in the genre, Baldur’s Gate 3. Fucking packed to the rafters with live service elements so that must be it.

I just couldn’t stop buying the bg3 season passes, fomo-exclusive character skins and consumable magic item bundles to feed the one companion whose name escapes me atm.

I’ve got so many Golden Keys for opening Ultra-Elite chests in BG3, but it won’t give me the exclusive Golden Helm of Baldur with the alternate mod slot unless I upgrade my golden Keys with exclusive in-game currency.

        </s> is a conversation I’ve never heard around BG3.

I dared to hope that Mass Effect would be good.

I now dare to hope someone steps up to the plate and gives us a spiritual successor. I miss being a space captain having space adventures in space with my space buddies.

Some of the old team are working on one called “Exodus” that looks okay. Matthew McConaughey is involved somehow, so take of that what you will.

It might not be of help but I’m satisfying my space exploration and ship captain itch with a heavily modded Starfield (Constellation 4K collection on Nexus so that’s around 200 mods).

It’s not perfect but at least I have a middle ground between No mans sky, Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous.

Plus, sniping people in the face on a moon is fun.

Starfield didn’t do it for me, well it did but not like Mass Effect did. Bethesda games used to be my favorite but I prefer somewhat less open ended games nowadays. They play more like survival base building games than RPGs. I miss oblivion.

          Yes this one, by v2.

He also put a 4K collection to complete it (or 1k for slower pc), a Star Wars collection that i haven’t tried.

There’s a Stargate mod I’d like to try if it’s updated and working with constellation.

I haven’t looked too deep In gameplay mods and just took the collections by v2 cause it was easier.

Well the industry is looking at Baldur’s Gate 3 to learn how fantasy RPG are supposed to be made. CEO thinks the only thing really missing is the only thing BG3 does NOT have.

Oh wow! I gotta admit, I kinda like Veilguard. Yeah, it’s the same “Bioware Style” story as a lot of others. Sorry it wasn’t to a lot of people’s taste.

Problem is that we waited 10 twara and got this. Doesn’t even compare to inquisition, feels like a VERY small game and the dialogue, story and combat is nor great. Not to mention there is no crafting and the game is very much clpawd and not open world like. Doesn’t even stand close to Inquisition, which I might add won fame of the year without live service.
