I’m more surprised that Doug Ford is actually fighting in the right side of an issue for once in his life.
Am I incorrect to assume his rural Ontario voter base wouldn’t be okay with him throwing in with Trump, while Danielle Smith is expecting to be lauded by her Alberta-first base for this?
I live in Alberta and the amount of people that are basically American cosplayers is insane. They want to be Texan badly. And they have no beliefs, so if they think selling oil to America makes them look or sound strong they will support it.
Danielle Smith cares less about her voting base than her funding base and if the oil stopped flowing her funding base would crucify her.

There is no such “Team Canada” except for dogma and conformity to distract from the culprit to blame. Look at the ones who push the mantra the hardest, they are fueled by hate and skipping over on accountability.
