I loved true crime! I was a gamecube kid so having something gta-like felt pretty cool when most “mature” games would skip the consooe entirely. Some weird stuff towards the end that put me off a bit iirc :p

It was one sick game!

Sleeping Dogs was at one point a sequel to this game (although it didn’t start its life with that intent)
