I’m not a communist, nor would I try to defend it. These exchanges are entirely 1-way - is that the intended message? In the first instance, a clearly middle-class person takes half the earnings from a begger; in an ideal communism, wouldn’t the begger also be getting half what the middle class girl has - she has a pretty nice jacket he looks like he could use. It’s a joke video, I get it. But I feel as if the creators understand communism even less well than I do. It’d sit better if they’d labeled it “when you’re Soviet,” because that was certainly not an ideal Marxist communist state that operated more like how the video demonstrates.
